Robbins - Anna Higgason

Anna Eliza Higgason was born in Harding County, Kentucky July 21st, 1826, and died May 20th, 1902, aged seventy five years and ten months. She was married to Jacob Robbins April 22, 1841 and to this union was born four children, two sons and two daughters: William, Mary J., James H., and Sarah A. William, the first born of this family died March 29, 1862. Jacob Robbins, her first husband, died October 20, 1850. Her second marriage was to John Stipe November 17, 1852. To this union was born two sons, Joseph and William. Joseph, the eldest son, survives her. William died March 28, 1890.
The deceased is well known to all as she has spent her long life in this and adjoining neighborhoods. Though our life be lengthened to three score and ten or even to four score years, when we look back oh how short it is. It is like the grass. In the morning it groweth up and flouisheth; in the evening it is cut down and withereth.
